Serve Ping’s Aston Villa FA Cup Giant Ping Pong Party

Aston Villa fans without FA Cup Final tickets can combine watching the match with table tennis at ServePings’ FA Cup Giant Ping Pong Party.

Up to 2,000 people are set to take part in the fun at the 20,000 sq ft Boxxed venue in Birmingham.

Table Tennis England is helping to stage the event, which will give people the chance to showcase their ping pong skills on eight full-size tables.

Coming along to take part, offer advice, and play matches is the current Birmingham Men’s Singles Champion Edward Lynn from Sparkbrook.

There will be several other members of the Birmingham and Solihull Table Tennis League on hand to challenge from 5pm onwards.

Serve Ping boss and Villa fan George Kafetzis said: “We want to put on a show that’ll give you the feeling of being at Wembley . . . Wembley with table tennis tables.”

Tickets have now gone on sale for the event, with entry costing 50p.

And if you do want to play ping pong, pre-book a table here.
